PRecise

Alexis Davis Smith

President & CEO

Alexis is the boss. Her favorite word is strategy. She believes if it isn’t strategic, it doesn’t make sense to execute. As such, she provides overall strategic and creative direction to client initiatives in addition to running the company. She also spearheads PRecise’s training services and offers senior-level counsel when needed.

Alexis launched PRecise Communications in 2000, after spending seven years with the Atlanta office of one of the world’s top 10 PR firms. She was a founding member of that agency’s inaugural ethnic marketing practice, focused on African-American consumers – the first ever created by an international PR firm. She also managed the agency’s Latin American-based business. She left the company to practice the profession she loved — on her terms.

Alexis (The Strategist)

Alexis signed global giant Coca-Cola as PRecise’s first client, managing its sponsorship of Super Bowl XXXIV. For 15 years, she spearheaded more than 50 multicultural and general market projects for the world’s most recognized brand, including the launch of the Coca-Cola Fridge Pack. Under her leadership, PRecise has secured some of the country’s top companies and organizations as clients, including Toyota, Lexus, Pfizer, Manulife/John Hancock and Spelman College.

Alexis is nationally recognized as a multicultural marketing expert. She was honored as a “Top Women in PR” by PR News in 2022. She has been featured in industry trades, PR Week, O’Dwyers and PR Daily as well as Vanity Fair. She has also spoken at a number of industry conferences, workshops and events.. When she isn’t eating, sleeping and working PRecise, she is obsessing over interior design, scrolling IG and TikTok and watching HGTV for ideas to decorate her fairly new home. Alexis is a native of Philadelphia, a devout Eagles fan, but has been a proud Atlanta resident for 30 years.

Alexis is available for senior-level counseling and speaking engagements.
